Q: What is Pipes On Parade: The Massed Pipes & Drums?
A:
Pipes On Parade: The Massed Pipes & Drums is a Massed Band comprised of individual Pipers, Drummers, Dancers, and Drum Majors from all over the world!

Q: Is this a “Pay-to-Play” thing?
A:
Simply put: Yes. Although the final per person cost is still being tabulated, you can find out more information about costs here: coming soon.

Q: What does the schedule look like?
A:
The itinerary is still being finalized as we await more information with link.

Q: Do we need to audition to join in?
A:
Yes! We are accepting applications from everyone who may be interested in joining us. We understand that there will be a wide range of ability levels represented. As such, in the name of fairness and objectivity, we are requiring every member wishing to participate to complete an audition. Criteria for these auditions are listed here: coming soon.

Q: What will be required of the Drummers?

Q: Who is in charge and running the show?
A:
The Pipes On Parade Staff are the following:

Q: What are we going to wear? We obviously can’t all be in the same uniform, right?
A:
We will be in a variety of uniforms. Details are listed here: coming soon.

Q: I’m coming in from out of town. Where can I stay?
A:
Music Travel Consultants (MTC) is putting together tour packages for us. These packages will include (but will not be limited to) hotel and charter bus transportation.

Q: Does the Tour Package Cost include getting me to Oahu?
A:
No. It will be up to each individual to make their own arrangements getting to and from Hawaii.

Q: Can I bring friends and family and make this a “Working Vacation”?
A:
Absolutely! MTC is also putting together tour packages for our non-marching friends.

Q: Everything sounds amazing! How do I get to be a part of this amazing opportunity???
A:
Step 1: Go to the Registration Tab on this website and complete the form.

Step 2: Send in your audition video. Audition criteria emailed after registration is complete.

Step 3: Register and set up your payment options with Music Travel Consultants*.

* Once you pass your audition, you will be emailed a link to MTC’s webpage for this trip. It is currently under construction.
